1In 1993 I completed my bachelor thesis on Chimu cultures (at University of Genoa); then I have continued to study Peruvian Civilizations, especially those located on the North coast of Peru. This is a list of references centered on Moche and Chimu cultures, with some references on Peruvian pre-Columbian civilizations, especially on Inca, based on my experience as cultural anthropologist.

2The Bibliography is divided into two parts: the first of them concerns some references on general works on Peruvian cultures and an introductory bibliography on Inca civilizations, with references on Chimu and Moche cultures. Finally a webiography, based on a research on Inca, Moche and Chimu thematic sites completes the bibliography.

3The work is in progress. A bibliography on colonial sources on Peru conquest and Spanish Rule will follow soon.
